Subject: Models for Dungeons and Dragons races out there?

Are there any good Poser models out there for the basic DnD races? 1/2 Orcs Gnomes Dwarves Halflings Elves / 1/2 Elves. Humans

I saw something of that sort at BBay. ..and while you're here, what happened to your website & Carrara Morphs Tutorial? -Jeff

My webstuff...? It was on a friend's machine. He stopped paying for the URL. Now a porn company owns that URL. Anything I ever posted under 'atless.net' now needs to go to 'www.rad-inet.com'. Same old machine, new URL.

The PoserGames site had great ones--that was/is what PoserGames was all about!

Right now PoserGamers is kind of out though since it was an offshoot of Poserworld.

Yes... PoserGamers had alot of stuff... but I am unsure as to the future of his site since it was on Poserworld and Poserworld is going through TRAUMATIC changes at the moment. You could try the old URL. He had dwarves, humans and elves I believe. Failing that... I remember someone working on Lord of the Rings characters and he did an AWESOME hobbit/halfling -- the best I've ever seen. And his elf (Legolas) was great too. Other than that... let's see... Ultimate Warrior had the Ultimate Elf Archer... Fairywood had an elf I believe. They are mostly scattered and it would take quite a bit of searching.

jschoen and I both kind of had some Tolkien stuff ... Haven't had any for download yet though. Neither did James.

I know... mores the pity...

Ghostofmacbeth ( ) posted Fri, 30 March 2001 at 8:10 PM

I am working on getting some of them up and stuff ... Well sort of S Thing is most of the stuff on them wasn't distributable .. At least for mine. The morphs and textures and stuff were all mine but the clothes were from Daz/zygote or Posergamers or Poserworld etc ... Not a modeller really. Could post the bases but basically eveyone would have to dress them themselves.

Ghostofmacmeth, I realize that you guys probably had to severely scale the standard-sized clothes to get them to fit on elves, dwarves, and gnomes... but we are capable of following directions. If you say to "use the wizard robe from the Costume CD, but scale it x,y,z in the chest", I'm sure that we'd look at all the other robes available if we didn't have quite that one, and get them dressed before the snows fall again in The Pass. I think we all have too much respect for Tolkien to let them go naked for long. Carolly

True ... Part of it is I am still trying to figure out what is what. this is the picture I did them for http://ghostofmacbeth.posermail.com/Tolkien.html Some 20 plus figures ... Not the best at read me's anyway. Just realized I forgot to include them in my michael morphs. But I will probably create download for a dwarf, elf and hobbit and maybe even an orc sometime soon. Just been kinda busy. They are also my views of Tolkiens and not D&D stuff but they mostly translate.

John Malis. He's a bit down because of the problems with Poserworld.... but you might try contacting him. I believe some of his models are on propsguild.com
