Well, I grew a bit tired of fighting against MIKIs ridiculous high polycount and while I was looking for alternatives, I stumbled across MAYA-Doll.

While I had downloaded her already some time ago, I never really spent time with her.
But as there are V2 and V3 remapped versions of her around, I put her head on PtVickys body and tried my luck morphing her:

She doesnt have MIKIs perfect expressions, but those break anyway when you morph her too much.
And shes much nicer on the machine...

The Shirt was made by cutting up one of Serge Marcks dresses
in Wings3D, and the miniskirt was made originally for Mayadoll, but I exported it as an obj and used magnets to fit it to PTVickys body.

the only thing i see wrong is where her neck & body meet. You can see the seam, and I believe also where the end of the PT body's collar comes through the neck.

Charming result. Once you fix the neck seam, it should turn out quite completely nice. I like this.

There is no neck seam in the mesh, but the new neck was still subdivided into several material zones which had slightly dfferent diffuse colors.

I regrouped and assigned the SkinBody material to the whole neck now.

Gee, expressions are hard work for sure.
Default smile plus 4 phoneme morphs plus lips raise plus lips forward plus blink plus six magnets.
But at least she can smile now. :-D

mikidoll looks intriguing - like the conversion of mayadoll to animedoll. perhaps it will combine the advantages of miki's body with an anime-style head.

Hopefully on Monday or Tuesday next week, Posermatics latest offering, MikiDoll for P6 Miki will be out. Whereabouts will she be released? She's a definite cutie!
