How do you find so much money to buy a new car, plasma 27" and a D200?! No it's a tripod - yes I really am behind the times! Print at the digital outlets, prints workout cheaper and quality is excellent! R2.50 per print = US$0.36

Thank you! Ive been ranting about getting a DSLR for ages now it seems, so im quite relieved i finally got around to ordering myself one. They seem to be backordered in all of Europe though. So they told me that they would probably get it sometime late April...sigh. Oh well....counting the minutes. #:o)

I totally agree. Thats why i bought the cheapest SUV around, and the cheapest TV around. And had i not been forced to buy those stuff i wouldnt have done it. But unfortunatly i crashed my old car, and when i got home from picking up my new car the TV caught on fire. Sigh. But when it came to the camera, i sooooo knew that i would never forgive myself if i didnt buy that one. #:o)

Congrats to both of you. 8) My TVs are both 32" standard tubes...Getting behind the curve here, but I have a feeling in the next few years the prices will come down for the hi-def flat screens.

Well i asked them to try to get a hold of the 18-200mm AF-S DX VR II - lens as well...but that one seems to be even harder to get than the body. So no lenses yet. I will probably start out with some kind of wide-angle. Richards been a tremendous help for me. #:O)

If you want I can send you the link to see the test images.

So with everyone backordering the D200 what's the big diff between that and the 350D, really whats the extra attraction?
