The Mustang gt2005 at 3dpmr.com looks pretty close to me. It's in the lightwave section of their free downloads. If you don't have a Poser version that will import it, you can use PoseRay (http://mysite.verizon.net/sfg0000/).

Unfortunately, for some reason, this model looks very blocky. I don't know whether it's inherent in the model or something with the Lightwave conversion. It looks bad in both PoseRay and 3D Exploration though.

There's another one here (http://dmi.chez-alice.fr/models18.html) but from the thumbnail, it doesn't look as close to the one you show above.

According to the first post you can use PoseRay

I'm sometimes lazy about posting clickable links if I don't have the site open, it's another field to copy and paste into a text editor as backup because I know 95% of the time 'Rosity's server will trash the post :-)

The model from 3dmpr looks blocky after conversion because it uses sub-patches in Lightwave. Subpatches are LW specific and you would have to "freeze" it in LW before converting to another format. Unfortunately, this will bring the poly count from 20K to 250K+

There is a free ford mustang cobra at the link.

Thanks for the information Nimrod89. I figured it was something along those lines. It's one of the few .lwo models I've downloaded like that. Too bad, it looks like a really nice model in native format.

"Arduino has a great Mustang 2005 in LWO format..." Arduino is 3dpmr that I mentioned so it is almost certainly the same model unfortunately. Unless you've got Lightwave, then you could probably find something less clunky at 3D Cafe.

Just a note. PoseRay's manual specifically suggests using PoseRay's subdivision feature on Lightwave models created with patches. I tried subdividing Arduino's Mustang a couple of times and did get a much smoother but still not great looking model with a dismaying 288K polygons. There are some options for subdivision and I have no idea which combination might yiels the best results plus you can also choose parts of the mesh to subdivide. So...someone who knows what they're doing might be able to make something decent in .obj format from this thing though it would probably be dense.
