Subject: How do I give V3 a broken nose?

Neyjour ( ) posted Thu, 23 March 2006 at 3:41 PM · edited Wed, 25 December 2024 at 9:04 AM

I'm doing a pic for someone and they want the main figure (V3) to look like she's had a broken nose at one time. I've been fiddling with the nose morphs but can't come up with anything at all. Has anyone tried this before using the head morph pack? Or maybe any ideas on how to achieve it with postwork? (I use Paint Shop Pro 8). I don't even know what a once-broken nose would look like. I broke my nose many years ago, but other than a few very faint scars on the bridge (I fell flat on my face and got a little casurina pine cone embedded in the skin) no one knows that I broke it unless I tell them. I guess the person that I'm doing the pic for wants it to look like a break that was never set properly...

2 small magnets - you can have them if you want; or do you want to try it on your own?

I'd love to have them. Thanks very much amacord! I'll send you an IM with my email addy. :) The face I'm working with is the Shahara morph by Syyd Raven, so I'd like to see how you did it with the base V3, then try and reproduce the effect on the morphed one. Or will yours work to the same effect on a morphed face? I've never used magnets before...

mags on the way.... no magnets before? really? now heres my advice: call your boss and tell him to put that job - well, right there. get devorced. get rid of lovers, kids and pets. do everything to get a week or two to learn more about magnets. you want magnets! youll love magnets! looking at shahara in your gallery id say they should fit. maybe you want to reduce the value of mag 2 to 0.5..... play a bit with nose wide, nose flat etc, and it should be just fine. A. ps: if anybody else is interested, pls do not hesitate to let me know....

Magnets are my bane. I tried a tutorial of Dr. Geep's and it had magnets. I couldn't get my magnets to do what his were doing. I gave up on them.

LOL!!!! Okay, I made hotel reservations for my fiance and the pets are on their way to the boarding kennel. Tehehe! ;) Just got the magnets in email. Looking forward to playing with them tonight! Thanks very much amacord! :D I guess I better go dig up that magnet tutorial by Dr. Geep. Hopefully I'll have more luck with it than you did Acadia. crosses fingers
