For all those who have bee asking in the Forums, "Where is Eve 4 located, and how can I download her?" Make note of the following: At 17:58 Jerusalem time (GMT +2) I re-downloaded the following three files: eve4cr2.zip, eve4encodedobj.zip, eve4textures.zip; from the following site: http://www.purr3d.net/Eve/. It would appear that momcat, Traveler's AUTHORIZED agent to dispence this figure has her site again up and running. Eve 4 is again available for general download. SO GET HER WHILE SHE'S HOT! David P. Casette... Eve looks mostly like Posette. She's a Posette cut more like V1, and with genitals.

Here are two Eve 4 based figures I've sculpted here in the forums- The Rye Sisters, Ayesha and Bolliharya. Whatever modeling success I've achieved with this figure, I owe to my mintor momodot. Hope you enjoy, I'm looking for a host to put thiem in freestuff.

In the begining there was Possette. She had no nauty bits and looked strange. Then bold adventurers came to recreat her with all her parts and Eve was born. She was seen as good but still the adventurers would not rest. Eve being good was not enoph. She needed better joints so the odyssey continued. Eventualy we find she was given new and improved groupings and the butt grouping was born. Finaly with new joint perameters and the new groupings plus many other improvement we find her at Eve4 the best she has ever been. Then also many others came to creat the many children of Eve. So it is that we have so many other versions...

Sorry I was feeling silly and couldn't help my self. I love all the Eve characters and this was fun to write. Hehehe. :D

Thank you momcat for hosting such a classic character and thank you Traveler for authorizing it. That is a very wonderful thing to do.

My brain is just a toy box filled with weird things

How different are Eve's joints from the standard P4 female and will WW easily convert clothing?

jubjub64 ( ) posted Mon, 27 March 2006 at 10:40 AM

It mentioned you need Maz mover program to convert the included .pcf. I downloaded the program and I get to the point where I need the seed file. But there is no P4woman file that is .obj, there is only .obz What am I doing wrong? I'm using Poser 6.

Eve by Torino was the pioneer of the inverted T chest, which placed the breast's in the collar group. One of the advantages accruing from this setup, was that from early on Eve had a dynamic chest, with the breast moving automatically in tandem with the movement of the collars. Eve's rigging was the prototype for such later characters by Zygote as the various Vickies, Stephanies, and Aikos. An interesting aspect of the early Vickies was that though based on Eve's inverted T rigging, they lacked her dybamic mobility in the chest. No matter how much one moves Vickie's collar group, her breast remain as stationary as concret. It is only with teh advent of Vicky 3 that we again see such dynamism as displayed intially by Eve, and at the cost of such mesh density as to strain ordinary computers as my still running Pentium 3. Eve 4 is also the natural culmination of the many Posettes equiped with Hellborn's genital hip, starting with the nude P3 figure, know as WWG. Thus she differs again from the Vickies, in that aside from being more dynamic with much less density, she is also anatomically correct. She is also a much more aesthetically attractive figure initially, possessing a classical beauty that's a far cry from Vicky's standard 'Monkey' looks. Other information about this figure can be found on Momodot's thread in this forum, at: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=2619080 As far as modeling in Eve, I'd refer the readers to my own two threads in this forum: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=12356&Form.ShowMessage=2601494&Reply=2616173#76 http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2603639&Form.sess_id=7564766&Form.sess_key=1143379028 (The second one, especially towards the end, is quite interesting for various reasons). I think these two threads speak plentifully for themselves as to the modeling versitility and rich future still awaiting this figure. Momodot has frequently said that he hopes that PhilC will soon be adding an Eve adaption to his Wardrobe Wizard, if the figure generates the enthusiasm that she so richly deserves, then this will soon be an almost assurity. Until then, I remain, Respectfully yours, David P. Hoadley

I myself, using only PoserPro have yet to encounter this particular problem. However, EnglishBob in addressing a problem similar to yours in the forum thread: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?Form.ShowMessage=2463509, gives the following answer. "You can still use it - you just need to uncompress the OBZ key file first. There's a Python script supplied with P6 that will do it for you, or Kawecki has a stand-alone program in freestuff." Hopefully this will be the solution to your problem. I wish you the best of luck with this wonderful new figure. David P. Hoadley

Last I checked Eve was not supported by Wardrobe Wizard. If enough of us were interested I would ask PhilC to give us support on it but right now it seems there are just not that many using Eve despite the 35,000 or more downloads over the past 5 years.

I have used Wardrobe Wizard to convert Don and Judy clothes to Posette and then used Traveler's Posette-Eve conversion .cr2 available at his Morph World 3 site to then use the clothes on Eve. This has worked. The conversion consists only of taking his Eve clothing base.cr2 and in a text editor changing the two ocurances of this line: figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:Poser4Clothes:Suits:blcatsuit.obj to figureResFile :Runtime:Geometries:Poser4Clothes:Suits:fill_in_the_blank.obj which isn't to hard with the search and replace function of EditPade Lite (freeware).

Dear Pitklad; Thank you for the sentimate. Please put Nea's head on her, so we can sculpt characters without stumbling over her bloody eyebrows, and blasted box-top lips. And please make it a permanent head so that it doesn't pop off in a pose like some of Victoria'a genital props do. Respectfully yours, David P. Hoadley

And please make it a permanent head so that it doesn't pop off in a pose like some of Victoria'a genital props do. Is there a way to glue props on rather than just parent them? I was wondering if they could be exported with a figure, as an object. The .cr2 re-pointed to the new object and the prop boned in the setup room. I have wanted to try this with genitals for the V3 and M3 but have not had a chance yet. Is there another way? Does anyone know if this one works?

But please keep Eve's eyes. With their seperate 'Cornea' material group, they have a liquidity that is very realistic. For example, the eyes in this photo. Respectfully yours, David P. Hoadley

I like that Olga (post 17). She looks a tiny bit surprised to see me. Would benefit from smoothing of the collar bones. Is there such a morph around? I should try to make one. I once had one but I have lost nearly all the work that was on my Freebie site 1999-2001.
