I'm looking for a free dying/withered potted plant. Seen any around? :) TIA! Ney

Just an oddball idea...

Can you find a model of a normal potted plant?

Divide it into two groups - the pot and the plant. Bring it into Poser.

Go into the cloth room, clothify the plant, and run a simulation. Find the frame where it's wilted to your satisfaction, and spawn a morph target.

You may well have to select some constrained/decorated verts, and play with the cloth settings.

Good luck!

You can probably find some through that search archive. Just type in a search word and you will find links to sites that have related items to what you searched.

Here's a link to the plant (now a Poser 4 prop) in dadt's post. Don't know if it's what you're looking for or not but you're welcome to use it. I'm not promising it's perfect. I made & textured it in a hurry so there may be some seams in the pot.

That's exactly what I was searching for, and it looks terrific! Thanks very much! :D I promise to give it a good home... water it maybe once a month, keep it on a shelf with barely any sunlight, a stick of plant food once a year (if I remember)... it'll feel right at home with my real plants. Tehe! ;)

I'm glad it's something you could use.
It'll never know it moved my house to yours. All my plants look like that. I even managed to kill a cactus once.

You couldn't kill my plants because they're all plastic or silk, LOL I gave up on trying to grow real plants many years ago. If I wasn't killing them by over or under watering, my cats were digging in them or knocking them to the floor. So fake ones are much easier to look after, hehe

It wasn't easy!! But if you ignore it long enough it'll die. LOL
