These are really neat, but still a little expensive. I have not got one, but I have used a friends, they are really great for low POV (saves busting your back) shots with a DSLR especially in the studio or in a shaded area, like all LCD screens, they fall down in bright light.

Sorry to say I tried one and the same problems as you get with a lcd no good in the light outside and nowhere near as good as a viewfinder

The Angle Finder is an alternative I use for those awkward shots

Yeh the Angle finders are great, both have their use I guess, I have used angle finders for low pov landscapes and like Danny says you just cant beat a proper viewfinder.

There IS a hood available for it, for those bright sunny days. There are other angle finders, but no like this (digital).

I tried one once and the LCD is very poor and slow. You can't manual focus with any confidence. I sent mine back after a few days.
