I'm not 100% sure what you mean by natural carved stone...but I assume you mean stone that was carved by natural means. In that case, here is a block of concrete (I hope that counts) outside my office beneath a rainspout. Over time the water has etched what looked to me like a profile into the block. Great idea for a simon Carlos...and not an easy one at that!

Ahh...Carlos you have an excellent Simon, that in itself lending to the difficulty. I am accused of seeing face forms everywhere..but now, I see many in my mind of real rock with dramatic faces but the memory does not tell me where! This entry is weak compared to what I see in memory..perhaps another entry will be better when I find the rock. This is a piece of Sodalite, a dark blue almost purple rock. I see a stoic face, perhaps a Corinthian Greek or a Trojan from years earlier.

Thomas, eh eh eh ... great ! ... and waiting for more :) Carlos.

I did have to post work the bottom of the stone..to remove the tape holding it erect against the bg. Otheer than that, much as seen except for noise in the shadow.

Well, this is more of a mountain than a rock, but my husband reckons it looks like a man lying down with his hands on his tummy!

I did have a strange feeling as if someone was watching me when I took this picture...

Good Simon, those who know my gallery will know about this. For those who don't, this is known as William's Nose. A face seen in the rock facing upward.

Ok...better later than not at all! My first try was verylame and takes more imagination than most shots. So, here is a Neanderthal. Tom.
