After numerous 5.5 crashes I *almost* got this to work in Daz Bryce 5 and Corel Bryce 5...but alas...it seems this is all that is left. The last crash corrupted the file beyond any ability to open it. My water entry would have been Monty getting dowsed by the a third child up on the porch cranking to sprinkler on. Ah well...best of luck to all who enter!!!

that sucks man.. It might have been better to render it in pieces and then compose em all together in a paint prog. It might have been too much water going on for Bryce and the PC... just a thought.

Make a smaller version of the texture map for the characters particularly teh children you might be able to get away with 750x750 or so poser texture maps are huge and if the character is not right next to the camera then make the map smaller. Reduce the refraction index on the water in the pool. Just my suggestions. I always try to find a way to get it to work faster.

And then if you need to change something just spot render it and of course - lots of saves under different files. :(

I hope you are able to work this out and finish it. It looks like a really charming scene!
