Was is worth it I don't know. I have a reasonably fast machine too 2.4 P4. Had to do some volumetric clouds to make the picture better and then the insane overnight render. I used normal render. I tend to put in extra lights and position them so I can get by the premium settings. they are a killer. Had the sun plus 9 lights to simulate radiosity ambience etc. The extra lights are less taxing than doing a premium render. Voumetrics are a killer . (even the relativly fast ones like I used there)

6 Hrs isn't bad....I think the common time limit for having a substantial complaint about Bryce rendering is a 6 days and over. lol

I try to be as efficiant as possible when I can. So I keep the render times lower. It is easy to do just set the render up to render at 256Rpp. I tend to work at normal aliasing and simulate a lot fo effects liek true abience with lighting rigs of various sorts.
