Subject: Poser 4 Clothing - Exporting to Bryce

Has anyone had any success exporting poser 4 clothing that is conformed to a poser model? Everytime I export it a poser model with posable clothing "conformed" and try importing it into Bryce, I get an error. Any one have any success with with this? It's REALLY annoying to have to export the clothes seperately and try to line them up in Bryce. Thanks.

Works fine for me. Steps I take. 1. pose figure. 2. add clothes. 3. comform clothes to figure. 4. use magnets to fix any bad spots. 5. export as OBJ. 6. uncheck all of the clothes parts that are suposed to be hidden. save. 7. import into Bryce. that's it Spike

You can't call it work if you love it... Zen Tambour

That's exactly what I do and I get errors importing! something about invalid format or something...

Apprently its the 3D exporation program everyone is getting for viewing .obj's and the like. If you have this program installed, you have to remove it to stop the invalid format's from happening. :(

Nope, I can assure you guys that it isn't 3D Explorer that is causing the errors. I had the errors before I installed it! But what I have also discovered is problems exporting with .3ds props. Poser simply doesn't export them at all. There is one thing that you can do and that is export them one at a time. Tedious I know, but if you export only the skirt and then export the figure they usually won't give you the "invalid format" error. Good luck! Regards Ronin
