Tadaaaa just found this little thing in the galleries. That's some impressive booleaning there! I figured it deserved to be shamelessly plugged into here for a bit of extra promotion ;)

Wow nice!! Are there any sort of boolean by numbers guide????? Would like to give a it go but all I usually get is something that looks like a blancmange!!! :b_rolleyes:

Lindans, u gotta visualize it. That's all there's to it. Visualize one cut out at a time. If i take this positive sphere and i take this negative sphere. This area will overlap, thus cutting it out. creating.. this shape! yay! Then group it, render it and see the result, check if it's satisfactory, if not, move bits around. Once u got it right add ur next negative boolean or ur next positive one. Add it to the group to make it interact with the individual objects in the group. Or, if neccesary, group it with the group to have it operate on the group as a whole (if u want to have a booleaned shape to have a boolean effect on another shape for instance).

you know..sigh did anybody else get the thing to log in to view that link??? Im rather tired of having to log in to see anything everytime on this site. shakes head and mutters I've tried boolean. lets out a pfft bully for those that can do it....I suck at it. :(

Izy i have messed around with booleaning not really taken the time to model anything with it though. What i did do though took me 30 minutes of doing the sections then re-adjusting bits on it.. It does take time to do anything with boolean so if you want to find tutorials on it go to google and search for "boolean tutorials"

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Entries accepted by all pretty ladies from the age of 16 to 28! - 1st price winner gets a 2 hour session of receiving some tongue action at various locations. :tt2: - 2nd price winner gets a 60 minute making out session. :b_tonguewink: - 3rd price winner gets a 30 minute making out session. :thumbupboth: Traveling costs to amsterdam will not be paid by me. Find a mature guy? I'm 20, I dont really feel like makin out with older ladies, sorry. Maybe bryster can help out for the higher age ranges? Btw, ur still allowed to participate and such, I just wont be able to hand out those prices :tongue1:
