Just noticed you have snuck past six years here! (do we offer congratulations - or commiserations (grin!))

Congrats AS! You and Incarnadine are really battlehardened Bryce Forum Veterans. 👍

March 10th 2000, that's my original sign-up date, even I had forgotten the date, and it really hadn't registered in my head during all this new PHP. I was actually brought on as Bryce Moderator sometime after April 8th, 2002. I'm not finding a specific date, but that's when the rest of the staff voted me in, so we'll just go with that, lol. So, actually your post is not belated. In a few days, I'm looking at being a member here for 6 years, and as the acting Bryce Mod, 4 years. Time certainly DOES fly when you're having fun! :b_unbelievable:

Agent Smith, Have a happy! Let us know when! BTW: i like the Jack Nickolas looking avatar better than the Niles Crane looking avatar. The stern look of the Crane looking avatar sort of scares me. At least with Jack you know what you're getting and I think he suits you better. (I can handle the truth) soooo ... not that I'd use them or anything but what's the secret to getting the smileys working? (I can use IE or Modzilla but 'zilla is so much more fun!) in the dark, -TJ

bikermouse; -Those smilies...the freaking key is to copy/paste the weird bit of text (ONLY) that is underneath the smily you want to use. No "code" or html. Then just paste the little bit of text wherever you specifically want that smiley.

Wanna know what my problem was with the smilies? I totally was not seeing the little words under them with the semi colons. It was like one day I suddenly saw them and said to myself "were they there all this time?" I guess they were, :b_blush:

danamo ( ) posted Thu, 06 April 2006 at 11:29 AM

@Bryster-My goodness man, must you be so scatological?! I thought it was against the TOS to mention BM and colon in the same sentence.(sorry TJ).

OK, that's it. I demand a new rule. It's not for negotiating and if it doesn't happen I'm coming over to Rendo-server land to make it happen. :baseball_bat: Order66- "No member of Renderosity who is male shall use the likeness of a real female as his avatar. Why do people keep talking about AS's changing avatar? It's always the same: and it's always BEEN the same.

You must be joking! He went through avatars like the world was 'bout to end or something. Of course, we now know it was out of sheer desperation to try and find a better one than mine. Len. (He had to give-up in the end though)

Nope, didn't notice.  I'm travelling around the country at the moment so it's not surprising as it takes me some days to get back to the forum.

LOL! We had an acute attack of santa hats on almost all of the CGTalk Cinema4D forum member's avatars back a bit. Maxon had posted a pic of a nice fluffy trimmed santa hat and said  something new was coming for Chrisymas. Instant forum wide speculation about a Hat module (it was actually the Hair module but we had too much fun with the hat module idea).
My avatar there still has the santa hat. Guess I'm going to have to update it (grin)
