Yes, that's what I'm doing. I set up as much as possible in Poser 6, then import everything into Carrara. In C5 I set up the lights, cameras, tweak the textures and positioning, and then render. As time goes on, and I become more knowledgeable in Carrara, I'll be doing more in C5, and less in Poser. A lot of people have the same reaction to the term "toon". When you see that, you think "line drawing". That's part of the reason I call them FoToonZ. I feel that the 3D rendering aspect of them really adds a whole new dimension. It also adds tons of time. I'm managing about two per week, at the moment. And THANKS! I'm glad y'all like them! Gordon :-)

Hi All, I switched to Carrara 5 Pro for all my 'toon rendering about 6 weeks ago. The three most recent 'toons on my site are the first posted examples. I'm Very happy with C5 so far. No crashes. Far better texture and memory handling. As I learn the program more, the renderings will get a bit more sophisticated. I just finally got skin to come out the way I wanted it two days ago. I'm working about 5 weeks in advance so THAT 'toon will show up on the site in May. A new C5 'toon went up today. See what you think! Hope you like 'em, Gordon :-D
