Subject: Anybody Know of This V3 Character?

JPX ( ) posted Sat, 08 April 2006 at 8:17 PM ยท edited Thu, 06 February 2025 at 2:27 PM

I was browsing the Marketplace the other morning after work and found a texture/morph for Vic3 that was a dead ringer for Yasmeen Ghauri. I'm pretty sure most people here remember her for being the supermodel that was on everything except the wild-and-crazy celebrity list. I was too drowsy to put her in my wishlist or even bookmark the page. Can anyone help me find this product? Sorry for being so vague about the ID, but I can't even remember the name of the product or artist. Looked through all of the products offered in the last year.

Sorry, never heard of her. I'm attaching a link to an image of "Yasmeen Ghauri", maybe it will help. The thing is, unless the character was actually intended to be morphed to look like someone, it's very subjective. You might think the character looks like her, someone else might think she looks like someone else. Even when the character is modelled to look like someone, not everyone will agree as to the likeness. Good luck in your search. Maybe click your history links and see if that helps you.

Yasmeen was on the cover of every magazine except TV Guide. She probably was best known for her modelling work for Victoria's Secret and Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issues. This isn't a case of my perception of whom I think the texture/morph resembles, it's pretty objective. Just like the person a while back on here who posted an image of his Vicky figure. There was no doubt about the intended identity of this popular face. It was Jessica Alba. He (or she) never mentioned any names in the post, but the replies were justifiably numerous. Anyway, thanks for reminding me about the history check. The only thing is that I already back-tracked through the Marketplace ad infinitum with no results, and now I'm going to double check to make sure I didn't hit upon this on DAZ3D or RDNA.

I'm not big on fashion magazines and I don't read TV Guide or Sports Illustrated. The only model names I'm familar with are the ones who married actors or rock stars, and that's only because they married a famous person.

Yasmeen was one of the most sought after models in the business, because she was all business. She quit model work and went back to school, and without notorioty to haunt her, she was left alone. She was described as 'aloof', but was and still is a very private person. Now then, I'm gonna start a new thread and ask people how they morph faces to achieve what they are trying to accomplish.

She reminds me of Eszter.Search for DigiCalimero here in the marketplace.

Yes, she's very much like Eszter. Here's a direct link.

Close, very close. But this was a texture/morph product. I'd recognize her again if I saw it. Thanks to everyone for helping out. I'm going to quit browsing interesting places while under the influence of sleep deprivation. JPX

Thats Zenobie http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=34288 or Noryn http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=33203 I own both characters and they are most close to the photo here.

Still not quite there. The framing of the thumbnail was darker, with the female figure also having a darker texture. Here's one photo that pretty much shows the features which make the character distinct. I bet I could find one that looks just like the Marketplace thumbnail. http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i150/JPX2000/YazGhauri.jpg

Have you tried looking through all of the items for V3? EDIT: Do you remember what colour the character's hair was in the thumbnail and main image here that you saw? Can you describe the thumbnail IE: head pose (facing which direction), full pose, long or short hair, hair colour. Was the larger image a face shot or a full body shot? Was there a background to the big main image...what colour. Anything you can give that will help narrow the search will be helpful.

So try the shop of TamelaJ http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?vendor=28638 Or Valis Adela http://market.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/index.php?ViewProduct=42188 Adela is more close to your portrait photo and darker too.

OK, the thumbnail looks pretty much like Acadia's avatar, with the head turned a little more to the right and the eyes looking at what would be the viewer. Dark long hair, dark olive skin. I think it was a head shot only. I didn't get to the product page because the connection was too slow (and I'm on cable). Just figured if it was supposed to be Yasmeen that most people would recognize the model. I'm still going through every page in the marketplace that shows up in my browser history. Hell, she may even be on some other web page. I don't remember. So thanks for the help, everyone. I appreciate your efforts. JPX
