it's some recent movie someone came out with, it's 2006's version of 'all your bases are belong to us'..a nonsense phrase that has 'coolness'..;) the original quote is from an Indiana Jones movie..;)

I'd have liked the movie more if it wasn't, actually, about snakes on a plane. How can you take a cool title like that then make it absolutely literal?

That's its charm!  The title is the plot!

They were actually going to change it to something less cheesy. Pacific Air Flight 121 or some such boring thing.  Snakes On a Plane is much better!
