has anyone ever seen a 3D model of Mount Rushmore besides the overpriced one from Viewpoint. Their low-res one is $495.00 I am trying to find one for a project. Thanks.

If I had your dilemma I would use M3 from Poser and try to recreate the faces a best as I could and put them on a terrain and render it. I might not be perfect but I'll be saving 495.-

Actually, another way around the problem is to get a good picture of mount rushmore and use a terrain to model the mount rushmore faces... Experiment using the picture as a bitmap... It's worth a try... I once tried doing that for a fish and it worked pretty well for a side view...

Ya, and if it is good enough, you could sell it, undercut the 500 buck jobby.
