THE PLACE FOR ALL THINGS BRYCE - GOT A PROBLEM? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE

Subject: City lighting tutorial needed

Mugsey ( ) posted Tue, 11 April 2006 at 5:14 PM · edited Thu, 11 December 2025 at 9:08 AM

I need to know how to light a whole city in BRYCE 5.0 - and I also need to know a good way to stop my crayon eating habit...

Crayons... roll them in ground pepper or ground chili peppers. What do you mean, "a whole city"? Sun? Put a big square spotlight to light the scene from above? Put a whole bunch of radial lights above?

If it's what I think you're looking for...
Rochr had a city light tutorial here at one time, I tried the bookmark, but Alas........NOT

His site has an inactive link there, probably the same one that was once here.
Who knows, maybe someone has it tucked away.
Good Luck

Happy hunting and Merry Christmas you obtuse Mormon Rhino spankers!!!

(I'm sorry - haven't taken my medication yet, but hopefully bonkers the magic circus parrot will be in here with my yummy jello and calm me down tablets any time now. I just hope the ward orderly doesn't catch me using the institutions computer - tee hee hee.

If you are addicted to eating crayons you should also swallow a long string(or wick) so that in case of emergency you never run out of candles.

HEY! What a novel concept!...candles are always handy, especially if your like me and are in the habit of breaking light bulbs because you want to liberate the magical faeries that are trapped inside them (that's why they work - they monopolize on the "Tinkerbell effect").

ANYWHO - please let me know if you guys have a tutorial or a quick shortcut on simulating city lights at night on cityscapes done in BRYCE 5.0 / 5.5.

Thanks - AND STOP STARING AT MY BUM BUM!!!
