Kort, keep posting !
I do hope Kenmo reads this thread.
He has excellent car photos in his gallery.
Pl take a look also at Kenmo's Gallery
Just love the classics.
Keep em coming.
My friend and I used to take his '61 Studebaker Golden Hawk and the '59 Bentley to Concours d'Elegance in Oregon for a couple of years in a row. Those events are a blast.

Hmm....I will always associate Belair (the car) with Stephen Kings book "Christine" :)
I've got plans to walk in to one of the car dealers over here (preferably one who sell BMW
or Mercedese...hmmm...that spelling doesn't look right) and have a chat with the manager
and ask if they would allow me to roam around with the camera during a sunny day :)
I'm not comfy walking around among cars like that without a permission. They might think
I'm planning on coming back during the night and steal them :p
As for rain, if nothing else the camera won't like it. And who knows....I might melt too :tongue1:

Great pics. Kort - this year I want to get some car pics. I did a few last year, not very good, so want to try again. I've not got the equipment for moving cars, which is a pity because there is a race track quite near, so for now it will have to be parked cars.
Christa I was thinking of going to a dealers and asking for permision to photograph :) I have a couple near me in mind, like you I thought it best to ask permision first.

Yeah, I think it's a good idea to ask first. It's one thing when you take piccies during shows like
Kort done here (they're all great, Kort!) since that's a public event, but to sneak in to a dealer and
begin to take shots of their spanking new BMW's or whatever they have in store without asking
first is not the same thing. I'm also going to make sure that every salesman in the store knows
that I'm allowed to. Otherwise there's going to be a million questions about it...and they would
most likely try to sell me something...haha
So yep...I think getting a permission will take away a lot of bad side effects.

Yes, I would definitely ask permission when going into a dealership. Another though is to go to a dealership that deal is classic cars. You could probably get some pretty nice detail shots that are much tougher when you have crowds of people around. I'm glad you enjoyed the show. I'll make a Part 2 in another thread so as not to overload one thread with images. There are some older cars you may like. :)
