If you could be more specific as to what files you are referring to, I'm sure we could scare up some answers.

Assuming you got Bryce 5.5, you should have a Bryce:Content folder. Typically this is where you would unzip or otherwise install any Bryce content files.

Any Bryce native format files will then need to be istalled withing Bryce. To do this open the appropriate library and click on import. After you've imported the object into Bryce, as long as you've backed up the zip or installer, you no longer need the file in content. Bryce reads it and adds it to the appropriate library file in the Bryce:Presets folder.

You can rearrange and create your own folder stucture for Bryce objects, materials and textures. Basically, create the new folder in the appropriate Presets folder and copy in a blank user file. You can rename the user file to something meaningful and then Bryce will recognise it.

You need to copy and rename the user files BEFORE you import any thing into them. There is a Bug in Bryce that DAZ did not fix, where when you delete something from the library, only the thumbnail gets deleted, the file stays the same size. If you need blank files, I thought I knew where you could d/l them, but I can't find them now. If you need them, rename any you've added to and reinstall Bryce. Or just install Bryce somewhere else and copy them over.

Also, I think this might be explained better in the FAQ, the link is right below AgentSmith and Zhann's names up top of the page. (If this isn't in there it should be.)

Yeah Zhann, I thought you had them too but couldn't find them there either.

SilverChains, yeah. if you emailed me or Zhann we could email you the blank presets. I was about to type that you could IM me and I'd get them to you, when it occured to me I'm only pretty sure I still have blank ones, then I realized I could reintall them and then it was easier to tell you how to reinstall them.

Man, I'm talkative tonight.
