I have two orchid shots that are just begging to be paintings...a la Georgia O'Keefe...if that's what you're looking for...

Also,Deviney,(Ron),just did something recently that also would be awesome as a painting. It's called 'Lying back' or something like that. It's reminiscent of a Lempika or Erte.

I hope I'm understanding you correctly. You are looking for photos to inspire your 2D work?

Yep....that's correct, Marlene. I'm drying out after 10-15 drawings and end up staring at a white
sheet of paper. And that won't finish this exhibition :p

If you have a link to the piccies of orchids you can either put it up in this thread or send them to
me in a pm :)
And I'll take a peek at Deviney's work :)

Thanks Marlene :D
I'll take a peek.

Edit: I'm back :D Anyways....Roys picture is great, but I won't be able to do any half nekkid portraits
for this exhibition. The ladies in the church next door would probably choke on their tea if I did.
There's been a lot of questions about what kind of art I'm putting up, so it's understood that I'm
not allowed to have any bare skin involved.
Besides...Roy's image has a lot of postwork to it, which makes it in illustration.

I'd like to try out the second of your orchids though, if that's okiday with you.

Två små fåglar satt på en gren och pissade fotogen???   LMAO!!!! I have never heard that one before...but boy is it ever so catchy, LOL. Did you have any success with that drop you asked for btw? 😉

How come we say 'It's colder than hell outside' when isn't it realistically always colder than hell since hell is supposed to be fire and brimstone?

hehe...figured that someone would catch up on that lil ditty 😉
And yawp....I tried it out, but I think I'll have to do it out another day. It was not a "water-day" yesterday and today I'm having a "brick-day" :tt2:

My bad.  I thought the image attached, but evidently it didn't.  Probably too large.  Perhaps it will work this time.....

Nope try again...

It's only loading a tiny bit of the photo.
You can also add a link to the photo instead if it's really big. That might be easier :)
