The only thing I can suggest is converting the pic to greyscale on a black background and then using it for a symmetrical lattice with a cloud material applied. Let the lattice be SOLID. You might also use a cloud material as an alpha/transparency map on the lattice. Surround the lattice with spheres with the first cloud material applied. and then prepare to spend time masking the edges of the lattice in photoshop or something similar.

A tutorial? Ewww. I'd need to capture screenshots, write descriptions... Just kidding. I'll see what I can do. A poser head has quite a lot of parts, so you need to remove the unnecessary ones, like tongue, teeth, mouth box, the inner parts of the eyes or eyelashes. Then you have to ungroup the head and make each and every part positive before you proceed. I cannot show you at the moment, because I still haven't installed Poser on this computer. I'll try this afternoon when I get back from work on my other computer.

Just a thought....
For poser figures, why not just import the figure (or just the head), suitably posed (no textures needed), then render a height map from it? For height map, you'd obviously have to rotate the figure/head so it's looking up and use a down-pointing camera angle.
That automatically gives you your basic greyscale image w/o lots of messing about....
Then you could photoplay with that to your heart's content, and finally apply the image to a lattice (or whatever).
@amlan70, I suspect that your baby-face image would almost work "as is" for a lattice height map (apart from the white background - that'd have to be changed)...
Cheers,
Diolma
OTOH, I might not know wtf I'm talking about..

** I am trying to create a project called Masked Arena. In that I need a globe of cloud made with Bryce sphere with volumetric cloud material applied on it . BUt then I got a image of a baby and a bearded man from the Google. I want to apply these image as bump maps on the clouds , so that the clouds look like faces of persons with a cloudy texture / a cloud with a face.**
Can someone guide me how to do that in Bryce ? I want only the face to get affected on the cloud . The skin colour of the face shd`nt come . Please help me . I need to do this urgently for a portfolio I have to submit. Thanks so much........................
