Canon introduced a nice lens for the video guys & I hope they'll make one for us DSC users too.:biggrin: Btw does anyone know if it'll work on a EOS...:unsure: This thread isn't OT, am i right doug.

**Saw the news hehe.. That sounds very interesting tho.. Oh well nothing metioned about the EOS series.. But if it will support it!! I will get one for the hell of it to add it to my collection..

Does this ens look like it may be more for professional video rather than for EOS system DSLR's?

Yeah I am sure this is only for video cameras  You can use your EOS lenses on some Canon video cameras but not the other way around as far as I know.. ..  The real worry  is that video cams and HD technology with its ability to shoot live action that can then be taken off as a still with increasing quality may mean that photography may bite the dust as we know it. As we move into a new era of ultra high qaulity video
