Subject: April Theme - Mini-challenge.

RimRunner ( ) posted Thu, 13 April 2006 at 9:23 AM · edited Sun, 06 October 2024 at 1:26 PM

This is kind of an un-official challenge.

Just a little one, to keep us all loose and ready for the official April/May challenge.

THEME: April Showers

There is the obvious (to some): Someone named April in the shower… but I’m hoping for something a little more original. 😉

This mini-challenge will end on April 25th and be judged the normal way on 28th.

Enjoy.

Thanks Sandie!  Your image of spring rains is so clever, lol.    There is still plenty of time for more entries, but maybe we should 'advertise' a little. :m_wink:

This render came out  a little dark for spring, but is been a dark wet month (and this looks like how I feel).

I've been trying to get a roof on my house for five weeks and for five weeks, it has rained in sunny San Diego (not steadily, mind you, just on the days that my roof was scheduled to be replaced).  This mini-challenge seems appropriate to me!  Excellent entries. Good job on the mini-challenge!

How about a shower that 'springs' upward? That, and I just liked the faces in the water here. :)

Hey Rimrunner, methinks you either need to boost the caffeine, or maybe it's the blood content.

I think That should read Sndcastle 10 pts.

Great mini challenge, and terrific entries. I think everyone is a winner.

Is Gunsan going to pick the theme for May?

Congrats Chohole, on BOTH your wins! ;] I guess if Gun can't be tracked down, you get to choose Pam.

Chohole,

I still haven't heard from Gunsan. Part of the reason for starting the mini-challenge - if gunsan hadn't show up by time it rolled around to start another one... well... guess what. 😉

Looks like you get to select the theme for May's challenge. Please start a new thread and I'll update the forum banner and such.

Congrats again.
