The usual freebie problem, the file has an absolute path to a texture file.

Open the file in a text editor (e.g. WordPad) and search for "F:model startInterior" and remove each occurence if you have the texture in the same folder as the PZ3.
Otherwise put the texture ("tv screen.jpg") into your main Runtime's textures folder and replace with ":Runtime:textures:"

Rendering in Poser might not get you the same result as what's shown on the download website, cos that was probably rendered in 3DS Max, and it's unlikely that the more advanced settings will have been replicated in the Poser setup.

Didn't notice that (hadn't tried loading it).
That file comes with Poser6, so if your using an earlier version it probably doesn't exist.

To get the file to load replace the filename (including the quotes) with NO_MAP or change the path to that of some other reflection map that you do have (e.g. "Runtime:Reflection Maps:SilverRefl.jpg" or "Runtime:Reflection Maps:SilverRefl.pct" as one of these comes with Poser back to at least P3) .

You should have that map, Franker.

Another thing that can make something loaded look crappy is if the item uses bump maps, and was saved in PP or earlier.  The bump map images will be plugged into Gradient Bump, or something like that.  Unplug them and plug into Bump.  That other channel is for using BUM files.

Actually that file came with Poser 5 and wasn't included with the default Poser 6 installation (you need the P5 content download for P6).  How do I know?  Well, I made the big mistake of referencing it in the Poser 5 versions of the Dystopia City Blocks back before Poser 6 existed and I've had nothing but questions about it ever since.

It's a pretty average reflection map, so if you don't want to track down the P5 content download over at Content Paradise, you can always just use some other reflection map (like the SilverRefl.jpg nruddock suggested).

Online Now!

Did he give you that missing texture ? If so, it's illegal - it was clearly told that the file comes with P5 (or with P5 content for P6) - and  any other way to obtain it is illegal.
