Why do I get emails for every reply in a thread...use to be I only got one no matter how many people replied.

Now I get an email for every reply in the thread. I know about the ( Notify me when someone replies ) option,

but I would like to know when a new post is made....just not every one...when one is sufficient.

Check out the Community Forum for the same complaint, many times over. And, from what I have read, it will not be changing, wish I had saved that link, anyone got it?

Hmm..., for N replies that's (0,5*(N^2)+0,5N) ebots, so that 765 reply thread in to copyright forum generated almost 300,000 emails. At times one wonders why this site is slow :) now carefully unchecking the notify option

Yup, the "Notify me when someone replies" box now needs to be 2nd nature, lol.
