ok, found that out on the net when checkign up regarding Depth of Field. As I'm sure most of you know, using Depth fo Field renders is terribly slow and sometimes lousy with grainy effects.
You can, using a Z depth render and tweaking with Levels make a good mask for blurring in 2d, takes a bit of effort and not always perfect.
That plugin is well worth it, you take your z depth render, apply it in the plugin, tweak it around and it auto sets the depth of focus....fantastic. Pity it's not free :/ but, a damn sight faster than using Vue, looks like it can be used for animations since it can do batch rendering.
