Great band shots...
Numbers 3,8 and 10 are my fav's...
This is great proof of why you never do a group shot of a band...
better to capture each member individually...
besides..when someone quits or gets fired..it's easier to replace the image...

Donald, great to see you around. I absolutely am blown away by these photos and your gallery image today. This is a kind of photography I have yet to try my hand at and you have it down to an artform. Thanks for sharing these!

OK .. I never thought of that whole quitting/getting fired thing. :) Do know I don't like posed band shots nearly as much. I'd rather catch them in their element .. doing what they do best. That's the fun part for me.

Wow .. thank you! I am really digging shooting bands. These guys are mostly local and still not polished like the big bands .. I think that's something that appeals to me. Having much better access to shoot them and also that roughness and/or rawness they have.

Hey all .. thought I'd decloak for a few minutes, say Hi and post a few images. I've been floating in and out for awhile, keeping track of the gallery and every now and then the forum.
Always love shooting new things and I've recently added shooting live bands to my bag-o-tricks. Thought I'd throw up a few shots from a recent show:
