I was reading the latest issue of Starlog Magazine when I ran across this item in the Medialog section. 😄

This is not my "second childhood". I'm not finished with the first one yet.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Bikermice keep Earth safe from the evil Plutakians who are in reality big fish but disguise themselves as human. In the last cartoon series, The Plutarkian Biggest Cheese on Earth was Russel Limberger not to be confused with Rush Limbaugh, Bree not to be confused with Art Bell(when he was doing a reich wing political show) and a hosst of other "big cheeses"  who's main objective was or is to take over the earth.  If it were not for the efforts of our three heros The Earth would be devistated which wouldn't be any fun for anybody except those with a large financial intrest in such devistation.  I'm only hoping the newest incarnation gets to America but due to the rather stinky political climate here I doubt that it will - Bummer!

Oooh, I remember all that actually! lol Personally I'd love to have them turn bush into some Plutarkian

One of the biggest drawbacks of the series was that they kept blowing up Limberger's office building; a bit repetative. That was long before the real life two towers unauthorized demolition incident . I think bush the ferst was in office when the first series played  - the branding  is still so thick here now since 2001 that I don't think they'd play that in 'merica - personally I wouldn't mind seeing the whole foul bunch: w ,chenny, rumsfield, rice et al shown as Plutarkians- the branding would do more good than harm.

However they go I hope someone figures out how to broadcast  it here in 'merica.

Meanwhile we're stuck with 'The ex-presidents' and 'The ambigiously gay duo' on the not so ambigiously gay 'SNL' program and any program with real social relevance such as 'Biker Mice From Mars' and 'Star Trek Enterprise' are taken off the air as soon as they draw parallels to the shady dealings of the current (GWB) and past (GHWB)  administrations.

The Biker Mice never pulled any punches; I hope the writers of the new series will be as brave.

Damn... i didn't know the us was that lame with sensorizing political critisism... Here we've got tons of television content that makes fun of or critisizes the powers that be, or famous people, or a combination of the two.

Yeah we used to be that way too but Dude it's not quite like Germany 1936 all over again! but almost ....

They're debating in Congress right now whether the NSA has the right to wiretap private citizens telephone conversations - Congresswoman Dianne Feinstien(D-California) says she thinks we're headed for a Constitutional crisis on that issue alone.

In times like these it is even more important to insure the writers of the Biker Mice, StarTrek Enterprise and other creative artists are allowed to speak and not have their programs canceled for thinly veiled political reasons!

Not since 1969 the year StarTrek the original series was canceled have the political sensors been so blatantly sensoring what we see on TV. StarTrek was one of the most popular series on tv since the Jack Benny show (50's)- not even Bonanza (mid 50s-mid 60s) was more popular. Lo you'd have to be talking Gunsmoke and Ed Sullivan to even approach the popularity of StarTrek TOS the years it was cancelled- the year after  the evil DickNixon was elected president.

It is my wish that new installments of the BikerMice be shown here again....

Hey StarTrek Enterprise too!

Anyrate "Beer, Bros and Freedom!" (or something like that)

Here phones can be tapped by the AIVD (our rather sucky special intelligence agency) and they do so on frequent basis, as long as they have an idea that you're important enough to tap anyways. They also scratched a few terrorists of the "taplist" who later managed to cause some troubles. stupid huh? oh and they have corrupt agents who leak information, and i think they even provided handgranates to terrorists which them terrorists later used against a police raid to try and avoid being captured. Aren't our special intelligence people great? The whole AIVD should be scrapped in my opinion. They keep puttin money into it to try and make it work better, but truth is they're leak as a basket and incompetent.
