P6 opens up a whole new area of materials, ligting and rendering style. In turn, it can slow down the render time. All of your figures mentioned work very well. Due to all of the new bells and whistles you may have to beef up your system, 2gig RAM and a fast CPU ( video card doesn't help render). Is P6 worth getting, yes. Interface is going to be different and will take some getting used to, same with the material room.
I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
Get thee to Poser 6 and download the patches. Everything you have for P4 works, sometimes with a bit of tweaking.
P6 is light years beyond P4 and there is a learning curve but that's what this forum is for. We won't leave you high and dry and no matter what, you will have fun on the way.

Hi. I've been busy and haven't worked with Poser hardly the last couple years. But there are some animation shorts and this and that I want to pick up and finish this summer. I last used Poser 4 Pro Pack, and would render the animations in Lightwave. I skipped Poser 5 entirely, but what's up with Poser 6? Is it worth getting? Does Vicki 3, Michael 3, and Aiko and all work well in Poser 6? Do the same poses and props and clothing still work in Poser 6.
How is the render engine in Poser 6? Is there something good to use as a render engine rather than the hassle of me doing it in Lightwave?
Anyone have some suggestion for Cyberpunk outfits for Aiko? Or any other tricks and things to turn Aiko into a sexy, sassy character for something I am working on?
Thanks in advance!
