I've decided to release the Gay Pride Russian Egg a little early. I'll be in Indiana for the next two weeks, and I know some people wanted to start Gay Pride Month a tad early.

This egg includes a very specific ream me file concerning rights. I'm giving my usual rights so long as images don't protray or are used for anti-gay statements. People who want to do this can make their own eggs.

Included in this set is a base egg, conforming innerseat, conforming lead/pull, and bunting. Also included are mat poses and textures for different variations, and a specific one for Leather Pride in blue, black, and silver. I've also included some P5/P6 procedural materials that look really nice on all the Russian Egg sets.

Just after the first of June, I'll be releasing another egg for Father's Day. This one takes the form of a desk set, with the egg as a box textured like a football. Later in June I'll be releasing the 4th of July egg too. I may have to make up a holiday for August... any suggestions? September is going to be an industrial egg for Labor day. October is Halloween (that one will be fun - grin). Then 2 for November, Election Day and Thanksgiving.

I hope everyone enjoys these eggs.

Jim

Awww, a carriage ! Those chains are a little disturbing, but it's beautiful work :-) Thank you !

Now I have to fit it to House Mousie, and Toonimal Kitty, and maybe Hiro or Vittorio too... :blushing: 🆒

In your first post, you refer to a "ream me file". I presumed that this was a typo, but now I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure it's a typo, however, I vote it for "Typo of the Year",  hehe

Another beautiful egg, thank you very much :)

Could "Back To School" be a possible August "holiday"?  That's when a lot of the poor kids here in Texas have their summer ended.  I love the rainbow shader on the new egg.

pdxjims ( ) posted Mon, 15 May 2006 at 11:52 AM

I'll be including more P5/P6 materials with some other of the eggs. I've got some nice new ones for the 4th of July....

I may have to make up a holiday for August... any suggestions?

"Admission Day" is an August holiday in Hawaii.  It celebrates the day Hawaii became a state.

Okay, not exactly a big deal anywhere else.  But a Hawaiian theme might be fun.  :)

Thanks for the eggs.  Very nice work.

Tereesa ( ) posted Mon, 15 May 2006 at 1:19 PM

My 20th wedding anniversary is in August, not really a holiday for anyone else though. :-) A wedding egg would be beautiful, maybe for June as in a June bride.

Thanks for the gorgeous eggs! :-)

A quick peak at the 4th of July Egg. I wanted to do something monumental and respectful of the Declaration of Independence. The Memorial Day egg is big on Red, White, and Blue, while this one reflects history. Still very much a WIP.

That do you all think?

Tereesa, I'd use the Gay Pride Egg, and do it all in white lace and silver for a wedding. I'd do a mat pose for it, but I've got to get going to Indiana. If I can, I'll try to do a wedding texture set for it the first week of June. OK?

How about a Remberance Day egg, with a poppy theme?

Jim, did you ever get around to making the wedding textures for the Gay Pride Egg?

The reason I ask is because my father died and I wanted to make an image that my mum would appreciate and hold dear for rememberance of there aniversary.

He may be gone in reality but in spirit I know he will always be with us, and we will always love him dearly. 8-)

Thanks Catlin

For a short time only....

The Wedding texture for the Gay Pride Russian Egg. There's both P4/PP and P5/P6 mat poses. You need the complete Gay Pride Egg set for this to work.

This is dedicated to Catlin's mother and the memory of her father, and marrages that last a lifetime.
