Grovers New Zealand Adventures

Hi all,

Yes it’s true….. Grover’s in New Zealand!!!

Well, after traveling all the way from Hawaii in a zip lock bag, Grover seemed fairly “slow“ on arrival. Not long after tasting the great air of NZ, he was “fully charged”, and ready to go on an adventure. Grover just happened to arrive on the duck hunting season’s opening day. Great excitement……… but after hours of explaining to him that I don’t hunt ducks, nor do I have the equipment to do so. I still couldn't seem to convince him that I was telling the truth..... That was it, he was off on a mission searching the house (the nosy little bugger) trying to find the “guns and stuff”. Poor Grover……… all he found was a decoy that I had picked up awhile ago, and nothing more!!! SO……. He really wanted to have his pic taken with duck decoy to mark this momentous occasion.

.......Yeah he got his way :rolleyes:

Ok so today it was off to Hamilton, the “birth place” of the great Rocky Horror Picture Show. Thought I’d teach lill Grover some interesting stuff and took him to the recently constructed statue of Riff Raff who was a great part of the show. There I caught him being the Grover I’ve heard about climbing everywhere, and on everything. Took these few snapshots of him there Hope ya enjoy

With all the rain came after sending Grover to you, I'm glad he made it safe and dry. I see Grover love his friends (Mr. Duck Decoy). And yes, the little guy loves to climb to great heights (be careful or he will take off from you, lol). I am enjoying New Zealand already. Looking forward for more..... Aloha......Errol

Yup! That Grover really needs a chaperone .......... I really think you should have sent me with him when he left the states!!!! LOL :closedeyes:

I always wanted to see NZ! I have relatives there somewhere! Tell the blue guy to behave himself, but have fun too!!!!! :tt2:

Ok so today I'll be totaly honest :b_shocked:

Last night after dinner, Grover suggested that we have a nightcap... Well that sounded great, a good time to have a "taste" of NZ wine! Thanks for the warning guys!!! :crying:

All I got was a taste... Grover hijacked the bottle... I only found him in the backyard this morning...

Poor Guy!!!

Now this was it, after a fair few warnings that this was a dangerous activity, he finally got caught by mother nature when a gust of wind knocked him into trouble. I had to climb the barrier as stated not to do… Yeah the warden caught me :crying:

Great job here Kai....the little stud, you gotta keep a short lease on him. He' s got an attention span of a gnat sometimes when he's bored, but when theres women around the guy can turn on the charm as I see he's done here with all these women. Looks like he's having a ball here, very kewl shots! Aloha!

After a long day of seeing the famous "Raglan" shown here Grumpy Grover seemed so unimpressed! I thought we had done some really "fun stuff!" Well at the end fo the day we went back to the statues.... That one still hadn't changed :blink: I went off for a short "loo break" and when I came back caught Grover "reflecting." He was muttering to himself when I overheard him "*sight* What happened to Hawaii" Yeah I think he still misses Punani.... Better say Barbie to so she dont strart crying now

All I can say is those early settlers must sure have been hungry to eat that stuff! Neat tree though. ;] Well, Grover may not seem too impressed, but I sure am. What wonderful vistas he is experiencing. Thanks to you, I've got the Lord of the Rings soundtrack running through my brain now... Excellent photo of the G-man out in nature ...he's got a 'nose' for these things...heheh.

Grover sure likes to climb trees. I guess being that short tends to make you climb trees for a better view of things. Oh does he love the ocean. Fab pic's Kai...if there's one thing I know he likes is the ocean...but he may be missing his Punani like all men do after being away from their women for awhile...He's such a rogue, it won't be long before another beauty steals his heart again...Love your beaches there, I could spend the day looking out into the waves....great stuff! Two great photos Kai! I seriously think you should put at least the one with him in the cup in your gallery. :) Sorry, but Punani is still in a funk over his antics. She keeps eating, so I guess she is depressed. She refuses to look at this thread. Sigh - I am sure it will pass though. When you share a love like theirs, nothing can stand it it's way for too long.
