That bottom glow on the picture was one of the inspirations for taking it - a lot of the more artistic buildings around campus are lit at night by ground-level spot lights. The treatment was pretty simple - after initial brightness/contrast and color balancing, I desaturated it, adjusted brightness/contrast some more and added a very slight orange hue to it with hue/sat. The grain is, simply enough, done purely with the Noise -> Dust/Scratches filter. Malenchite

Hey, all, Well, people have been responding positively to my campus shots, so here's another one. This is from the Mather Humanities Quad. The contrast and coloration was really bad on the original image, so I had to toss it into Photoshop to fix that... and then I tried tweaking some other knobs... next thing you know, I'd basically turned it into something like an old-fashion photo. Since it fits the character of the building, I decided to keep it. Let me know what you think. :-) Malenchite
