Subject: OT: recommendations where can announce stuff for sale of interest to graphic art

I hope it's okay to ask this. I haven't read the TOS for a good little while ...

Note to admin: please remove and forgive if this is a violation.

I have a couple of items for sale that may be of interest to some graphic artists. This being such a vibrant arts community, I thought of it first, i.e., can someone suggest some good places to promote awareness to artists that these items are available, i.e., that they might be able to pick up something they've always wanted for a very reasonable price?

Thanks.

if you look up, a few centimeters above your post, you'll see this: "Commercial posts go in the Product Showcase Forum"

Okay, thanks.

But it was not my intention to convey that these are my products, and I thought that forum was for that purpose, i.e., for merchants to showcase their products. I am not a merchant in the sense that others here are. I am simply selling a couple of graphic tools I purchased myself some time ago. If I were more specific, it would be clear, but I did not want to use this forum, or renderosity, to promote their sale, but merely to inquire as to recommendations as to where might be a good place to do that.

I will look at the product showcase forum, though, and try to determine whether it is appropriate after all for my purpose.

Thanks again for your reply.

Hi donquixote,

We don't allow the resale of physical products to be advertised via Renderosity, this is due to potential problems and liability issues with goods not being received and/or working. I'd suggest just placing it/them on eBay, that's always my first port of call and where I bought my Wacom ;-)

Thanks Karen.

The items are, in fact, listed at eBay.
