MarketPlace Showcase F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 22 9:03 am)
Oh man, another nice model. I bought yesterday the first and second building by you and i like them a lot. They render great! How many buidlings will this series contain? Will there be perhaps a series of italian buildings? Or other european countries? I love that stuff much more than characters and clothes. And another question. Will you perhaps bring out another great car like your great L´Elégante? I know so much questions.
If by my life or death I can protect you, I will!
Thanks guys!
How many models will this set contain?
The quick answer is : A lot!
Already modeled and ready to go are:
The Book Store
The Church
The Road Pack (roads, city squares, road signs, traffic lights, street lighting, power lines etc...)
Nature pack 1 (treees, bushes, flowers...)
Nature pack 2 (park, hedges, benches, kiosks etc...)
That's just the beginning. In the works are Rows of Buildings (most likely easy-posed, so you can make your busy street as curvy as you want)
The City hall, the Gendarmerie, the School, the Cemetary, the River are all either in the works or in the plans.
In the plans as well (but I haven't started work on this yet), will be a pack of low-poly people and cars, so you can really fill up your scenes with life without killing your machine.
Since the village is pretty much outside of time, I'll make both people and cars from various eras (around WWII, in the 60-70's, today)
As for making another car... There are quite a few excellent models out there already, I don't know if it's really necessary to add more, unless it's very different from what already exists.
Anyway, that's what's in the plans...
Thanks again for your great support!
I love the Country French look and have my home decorated in that. Pictures of the little French village...even 3d pictures made out of plaster, I suppose, from Bed, Bath and Beyond that are along the lines of your shops.
My kitchen dishes are called "Cafe Paris" which I have had to purchase on ebay because the 3 different makers of this design have discontinued it.
The shutters and awnings on the brownstone 3 story buldings just make them.
So you see, I truly am a fan of this type of art. With your packages, I can make my own art that I have loved always.
Good luck to you!!! And you will see me Friday or Saturday in your shop!!
wait wait...a bummer...
the prices are all listed as $10 ... it says $7.20 here....how long does it stay low?

Hi Dave!
A new item comes out every friday, and stays on sale until the following friday, when another pack comes out. (So basically you have a week to get something on sale)
The prices you see on the website are Canadian dollars, so a pack on sale for Canadian $8.00 is really around US $7.20
The regular price of Canadian $10.00 equals about US 9.00.
ok thanks :)
Your stuff is always worth full price anyway, but I've been on vacation for a bit and missed the first couple of releases at sale price.

After the Bistrot and the Wine Store, this week's building is the Pharmacy.
The place where you can whine about all your little aches and pains, and someone actually listens.
It's also the place to go to, to make sure the mushrooms you picked up during your afternoon stroll in the forrest are not poisonous.
Complete with posable doors and shutters, a modelled interior, and flanked by a closed grocery store, this new model is now available for the introductory price of Cdn $8.00 (about US$ 7.20 or 5.60 Euros).
