Yes the name is intentional, came up while talking history with my 7 year old daughter. So the first bit of modelling is a basic fork, I created a spline, then surfaced and extruded it (3ds max 3.1).

When rendered this fork looks ok  and gives me the basic shape to start with.

I've then simply grouped the forks to create my cartoon figure.

Next steps are to pose the figure, then add some clothes.

Ok, so moving on, I've posed the character and started adding props, hat, bomb and some trousers....

And one on a plain bg, probably my favourite, more time and I would have played morewith the shirt and UV mapped/textured it.
