Poser runs on my dual G5 with the newest operating system and Quicktime without problems: Heres a thread from the Macintosh form which might help you. Its highly likely thhat your preference files are corrupted.I'm running 10.4.6 and poser 6 with no problems. I repaired the permissions before and after installing the new OS though, and I used macupdate for doing the instal. Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
Please keep us posted as to whether that worked or not.
Before they made me they broke the mold!

my copy of poser has stopped working after my computer at work was updated to OS 10.4.6. everything was fine until the update. The machine was wiped clean with a whole new install, I reinstalled poser and updated to the sr2 patch. when i started up poser all i got was a spinning wheel and then a crash. I thought it might be because I wasn't the adminastrator on the machiine during the install so I had the IT department install as the admin, still no luck. Quicktime was also updated to 7.1. Anyone else have this problem? or have any ideas? Dual 1.85 ghz G5 4.5 gigs of ram. I would give more details but I'm not sure what to look for.
