Hello photo-folks ! -- hope you can help me with a little problem -- I'm having trouble getting a thumbnail under the 15 kb limit.
---this never was a problem - before I went digital -- just resized the image's dimensions to approx 2"x 2" or under - and 72dpi -----jpeg saved at quality 5 - and presto ! - a neat little thumb was created that was under the size limit--- only time I had a problem was working with a Kodak CD ---which had this extra infor tacked on ( camera model etc )
----- now that I am shooting with a digital cam ( Canon 30D ) ---- and using their software to save images ---- the shooting infor seems to hinder my previous method of creating a thumb ---so that even if I save at quality 1 ---the resultant thumb is still way over the limit !
----- I'm sure there's a simple solution - that I'm just not thinking of -- maybe -how to shear off the exif information ? ----anyway ---thanks for any input.
