{BodyGear - v3: Top Suit}

I been working on a suit for about 3 months, and I'm liking the results of what I made.聽 It's just a simple sci-fi suit as a start-up.

This would be a 'possible' freebie as my contribution to the Poser Community here in the site and elswhere.聽 I hope it can be of use...

The figure itself has been worked, tested and rendered on Poser 6, hopefully it can work with earlier versions of Poser; it's not textures, but it's materialed in Black with shine effect built-in.聽 I have also made UV maps for the suits.

Top Suit, the Suit Sleeve, the Suit Leg, and the low-cut Boots.

Comments and advice are truly welcomed.

Thank you,

JB

{Here is the Suit Sleeve}

I forgot to add that the Top and Leg of the suits will have morphs to fit V3.

Hope that helps.

It look good.Nice design.Some morphs in suit would be nice addition

Phantast ( ) posted Tue, 30 May 2006 at 4:58 AM

Very nice - I would use this!

jartz ( ) posted Tue, 30 May 2006 at 5:15 AM

Thank you so much for the support.

I was hoping to make some morphs for the front to open, but would take a lot of guess work and what-have-you.

Again, it's just something simple.聽 But with V3's morphs with both the Suit and the Suit Leg, it would help.聽 Plus I'm looking at the fitting of any V3 character would benefit some users.

It will be a freebie shortly.

Just wanted to know if it's do-able...

Thank you so much,

JB

To JOELGLAINE

Using Thip's Quick Suit [thanks, EnglishBob] and Anim8or to make the cuts, the curves, and even the details you see at the top of this thread.聽 Smooth it and come up with a concept - yet simple.

Again, I thank you so much for all your replies.

I hate to sound like an echo, but nevertheless, I'd like to echo the statements already made; it DOES look rather good :)

Yes, it looks good, and I'd certainly get this as a freebie. But the basic look is getting to be rather a cliche. Pay a bit of attention to material zones; that can make a big difference to how useful it might be. You seem to have different layers; it looks as though some of the padding/armour on the bodysuit has to be able to bend, and some could be rigid. Different materials there, perhaps.
