Her basic set of clothing is totally inadequate.  I would not have bought this one had I seen what all it comes with.  Or lacks for a better term.

Her looks and price when she was first released turned me off to ever even considering to own her.

Just enjoying the Vue. :0)

perhaps consider that victoria never even came with ANY clothes, hair or morphs.... besides I feel all the joy in owning her would be in creating these, or anything else you may use with her yourself.... this I guess unless youre a professional artist who doesnt have time for this.

Personally I have worked with Victoria from version one, through to three, and recently Miki, and gotta admit it takes a little getting used to, but at the end of the day, she's renders more realisticallyl, and takes a lot less strain on my pc than Victoria does. Its all a matter of personal choice.

I bought her when the Special Edition pack was on sale & I thought it was excellent value. Quite a lot of clothes, a basic character texture & about 4-5 sets of hair for about $45.

The base character isn't attractive, but neither are any of the others. However, her expression morphs etc are much better than V3s & there are some lovely character packs that make her look wonderful. My favourite is Camielle by Morris.

  1. Thank PhilC for WardrobeWizard!!! ;0P
  2. There are how many realistic Asian figures out there for Poser.  Oh, none except Miki and Koji.  Not one single other figure looks 'right' when turned into an Asian (and I can tell the difference between "Charlie Chan" (that's 'fake' Asian) and the real thing).  V3 does a better job than any other, but here are still some genotypical characteristics that cannot be accomplished by the morphs - except by maybe tweaking several hundred of them - maybe.

It has already been demonstrated that strong ethnic changes affect morphs.  The best approach for Asiatic characteristics is to start with them so that morphs don't confound into problems.  'Nuff said...

An for those that have purchased Miki, the new "G2" Miki will be Free.

Posermatic for one has some very nice sets for Miki as do others right here at Rendo.

Posermatic's MikiDoll and now Kichi are two of my favorites.

Miki  and ApolloMax are the two characters I use mainly these days.

Miki is all I really use these days. I nearly creamed in my pants when I heard the MikiG2 was going to be free to Miki owners. I do hope however that they either use the same UV, that there is a Miki1 UV mapped version or the UVs are close enough that I can hack my existing textures to match. I'm not concerned about clothes as much since I use a lot of dynamic ones these days and have even been known to turn Viki gear into props and give them the dynamic treatment
