Subject: default brush question PS 7

I suddenly can not remember how to get the default brushes to make nice tapered lines instead of blunt blocky ends.  I know theres something you click or check.. but its escaped me entirely...Seems like sometimes its easy to do and other times its stubborn and now I've forgotten entirely.

Hope this makes sense, if someone could tell me how to do this. I'd be a happy camper today

Go to the Brushes Palette and I think Shape Dynamics is the box you want to check.  I use CS2, so not sure where it is in PS 7.  I hope this helps some.  Maybe another PS 7 user can give you further advise.

Thanks so much for the reply, Suzanne. I just went and tried that after reading your post. Seemed like I remembered that being the right one, but it doesn't seem to be working. Beginning to wonder if I've got a bit of a glitch going..

Check Shape Dynamics and set Control: under Size Jitter to Pen Pressure or Fade.
