Subject: How to turn a multiple figure into One

Sorry if this has been covered before, but is it possible to create just one figure from a several figure pose (clothes, hair etc.) I would like the "figure" to load like the included Poser 4 preset figures with clothes (as one figure with a hair prop). I have made my figure 1 the parent for all of the other figures, but can't seem to find a way to combine everything into one.

If you mean you conformed all the clothes to the person, then what you want to do is select the person (very important) and add them to the library. You should be asked if you want to add the individual or the whole group, select whole group and you got it.

But is there a way to "collapse" all of the figures under the parent figure, so when you bring that saved figure into the workspace, you only have figure 1 and maybe hair as a prop?

I think you would have to export it as an object, re import it and then set up the heirarchy and joint parameters again. Probably not worth it. It is somthing you might want to bring upo on the next Poser wish list. I have used Max and the collapse modifier stack is similar to what you're talking about I think. It would be nice. Maybe there's a way I haven't thought of.

Do what shadowcat told you then when loading again delete the figures or props you do not want.
