It's also on the sidebar.

Be thankful you can even get the page to load.

I've refreshed the page a number of times, and rebooted and went back there first thing. I have yet to be able to load all of the thumbnails. At least 3 or more display as red x's.  And it's always different ones with each refresh of the page.

Little_Dragon, you seem to be displaying the other version of the store.  The format seems to have changed today.

Acadia what browser are you running.  works just fine for me, using ie 6 and the new (beta) 7 - on two different systems

Acadia ( ) posted Tue, 06 June 2006 at 10:59 PM · edited Tue, 06 June 2006 at 11:00 PM

The very latest version of Mozilla-Firefox.  I just refreshed the MP again and this time there were 7 red x's.

I have my firewall set with Renderosity in the allowed list.  I didn't have trouble displaying thumbnails in  the "other" MP.

I refuse to use IE unless I absolutely have to, and there is no way I'm switching browsers and putting my computer at risk just to shop at this store. I'll do without or go find stuff at other sites where I can access the stores without having to jump through hoops. I don't want to give my money away that much.

Acadia.  check your browser settings specificlly the cache.  I just tried the site with the latest Firefox (don't use if very often forgot I even had it loaded) and everything looked fine.  I went to several marketplace pages and freestuff pages....

BTW I only mentioned what I used IE as a browser - for reference - was not suggesting you change.  Why do you users of other browers, os', CPUs,  always take that tac, a bit touchy are we.

funny i've used ie forever and never had any "risk" problems,  but then again, I have a real firewall, and virus scan system.

I cleared cookies and cache and it still is the same. Initially like I said, I thought it was my firewall, but it can't be as some thumbs display while others don't.

I still haven't been able to load the page and have all thumbs show.

Yes the store has changed once again and look...it's the same type stuff! MAHAHAHAHAHA!
Acadia, what version of firefox are you using? I just got the latest update and have no trouble viewing the MP. The new version of firefox is 1.5.

What's new is accessible from 3 points.

  1. and 2. will take you to ALL What's New.
  2. will take you to Poser What's New (or any other section if you click that button.)
    Hope that helps.

Acadia - I'm not sure what's going on with yours :-( You might want to try posting in the Community Centre or Marketplace Support forums so the admins and techie guys can take a look.

Thanks Karen, I went and posted.  The only thing that has  changed is the MP. My settings are all the same as they were and I didn't have trouble with the MP the way it was before this most recent change.

Geez - I just realised the image I made with points 1, 2 and 3 highlighted didn't attach. (I probably forgot to press the button. It was early, LOL)

Anyway - there is a "What's New" text link on the sidebar, or the "Shop" button within the MP or using any of the "Poser", "Bryce" buttons from the MP frontpage will bring up What's New for that section.

a real nice big WHATS NEW button would be sufficient, right up fron like it used to be

I wish they'd quit moving the Poser button. I just get used to it in one place, so I don't have to wait for the images to load to click the link, and they move it yet again.

Tashar59 ( ) posted Wed, 07 June 2006 at 1:57 PM

Isn't this kind of going back to the way it was before the last change or 2? Not exactly but close? Going in circles?

jarm ( ) posted Wed, 07 June 2006 at 2:02 PM

This site is getting ridiculous, why can't they just leave well alone.  These new forums still look rubbish and they are much harder to track theards than the last forums.

I find myself less inclined to visit with each new change.

dasquid ( ) posted Wed, 07 June 2006 at 2:06 PM

Anyone else getting sent to the store when they click on forum threads? (no not links in threads that go to the store either)

KarenJ ( ) posted Wed, 07 June 2006 at 4:10 PM

The "Shop" button got renamed to "What's New" 😄
