What are you kidding??? This is great! Always love to see the work of other folks... And this is really nice stuff... You're really cranking them out these days?? :) Where did you get the bridge?? Did you make it in vue?? Or another program?? The whole scene has a nice surreal quality to it... For the fog, are you using a filter in front of the camera?? Just wondering...

Nice going! Have you post your stuff to the Vue gallery? Its going to hell others who are doing your kind of stuff!...especially promoting Vue software and the community :)

Really great image and excellent composition and lighting...

Oh yeah, that's good stuff there!

Tesign meant it's going to help others. ;) Very nice image; the fog is particularly apt and applied well. :)

Thanks, Tradivoro. Actually I purchased Vue 3 last August and have only created about a dozen scenes so far. The bridge is in the "Polygon Meshes" section of the objects that came with Vue. The distant fog is done in Vue. The foreground fog was done with a Volumetric Fog filter using a program called Pixel 32 from Secundum Artem. http://pixel32.box.sk/enter.php3

Thanks, Tesign. I have submitted some of my works to the Picture of the Day there but the problem I have with that is that they don't allow any post work to the image.

Thanks, Fox. Glad you liked it.

Thanks, Varian. I thought that the Vue Gallery was going to hell. Doh!

Varian ( ) posted Wed, 11 April 2001 at 2:23 PM

Of course, maybe he meant your work was going to scare the hell out of everyone else, being so good! ;)

Insane Ltd. ( ) posted Wed, 11 April 2001 at 2:39 PM

LOL! Thanks, Varian, but there are scenes there that make my jaw drop (which include some of yours)! The scenes there don't scare me but make me ask myself... "How the hell did they do THAT!". Hehehe!

tradivoro ( ) posted Wed, 11 April 2001 at 3:17 PM

Thanks for the info on that pixel 32 program... I'll check it out...
