Here is the latest update on my intro. I need to fix the ratio to get rid off the bars on the side...there is still some subtle effects to add.

Very nice water. The city looks very cool (although I don't know if it would withstand a Hurrican Katrina). It might be good to add some ocean traffic around it. My biggest suggestion, though, is that your flying craft needs to bank more as it jinks around the buildings. You've got some banking going on, but it looks to be too little to make the kind of turns the quickly moving background suggests. Start the bank a little before the turn. What are you doing this in?

I am using VueI5. I was thinking the banking need an "oomph" as well. And also the blur might be too strong. That city always crashes my Vue (it's just too big) so I 'm just happy it finally was able to render after stripping it down to only the things you see. I have to add a short landing shot of the ship touching down but then the main intro sequence will be done.

That think about the ship also caught my attention. It really needs some work.

Can you render it in passes and composite it? Also, since you've got the flight path and camera path all worked out, can you do things like remove the backs of some of the buildings or other things that aren't shown?

little on the large size...this test render is using particle illusion to add some effects to the display console. So take a look at the dashboard of the cockpit and see how these effects add to the shot:

Another Update. Sorry the voices are cheesy but its the best i can do on my budget. :)

Nice stuff! I agree on the need for banking on the flyby, other than that; great work!!! The 'cheesy' voices don't bother me that much, if it were me, I'd keep'em, they add to the confusing atmo you got going... Keep at it, Gtz
