This is Toffee, the Ginger Ninja.  Not even 7 weeks old but lively, fierce and fearless.  I have the scars to prove it.  :)

OMG!  Soooo cute!!!!  Gotta love their play faces,  hehe

I have a ginger kitty too :)  Her name is Abby.

I love the name "Toffee".  Is Toffee a boy  or girl?  Most ginger kitties are boys.

A boy.  Yep, I know that about Gingers.  He has 2 ginger sisters, though.

He's so sweet!  Nothing like a baby kitty to put a smile on your face and provide you with hours of love and entertainment :)  He's an adorable addition to your family.

I like this idea, and I hope you don't mind me "stealing" part of your thread.  Meet Apon, the greatest comedian I've ever known. We're the best f friends and I read him poems of Charles Baudelaire (on cats) before he goes to sleep. His mother's a 20Lb fat housecat, and his father a wild cat that lives in real life natural conditions. We also have dogs etc...

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Sam! He's TOTALLY UTTERLY ADORABLE!

7 weeks though..? You do know kitties should preferably be 12 weeks before they're taken from their mom, right? (and no it's not just pedigree cats)

They're just so wonderful when they're those 6-8 weeks... fluffy and playful and ...kittie-y L

And since we're hijacking this (hey any thread with cts is a good thread!) - here's my Basil when he was about the same age (7 or 8 weeks)

Well from the expression on his face I'd say he's thinking "If you read me one more stupid cat poem I'm gonna shred your couch!" But then, that's just my interpretation of the look he's giving. He's probably very sweet! LOL!

That's his father's side I guess... For the moment he's still a real sweetie, but that may be because he loves tunafish more that he hates poetry. Who knows?

Sam - he's a cutie!

No piccys of my furry friends today - all are outside de-populating the long bird life.

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

How cute! I love the blondie boys! My little tiger  is Skee-Zix. He was thrown over my backyard fence when he was 3 weeks old. Now he's a 21 pounder, but still thinks he's a baby.

Does Toffee do "Drive By Kittenings"?

Acadia ( ) posted Sat, 17 June 2006 at 1:46 PM

We need more kitty pictures!!  :)

It's been a traumatic day for the little lad today.  He had a really bad case of fleas and, being so young, it's difficult to know what is safe to use.  So we took him to the vet, who prescribed a gentle but effective spray.  He got a good dose of that when we got home, then I sprayed the whole house with a separate spray to stop repeat infestations.  He is now sleeping peacefully, totally exhausted and a little bit grumpy.

(If it's any consolation, a lot of people say that shelties have cat-like personalities ... does that count? LOL)
