Subject: Can anyone get into the new galleries?

I was there earlier, but now it's just dead. as in totally dead.

You just can't put the words "Poserites" and "happy" in the same sentence - didn't you know that? LaurieA

Scheduled Downtime

The Renderosity Team

In an effort to increase performance we will be upgrading our server to a new version. This will require a total back up of our existing database. As such, we will be down today (June 14th) starting at 2:00pm system time. We expect the downtime to be approx 2 hours.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to build the best artist community on the internet.

Could this be the problem? It's not actually 2:00pm though, unless your in **Mauritius. Thinking about it .................. I wish I was!

Yeah but I was IN the new galleries earlier today. And it's the 15th now.

The gallery HAS been working, in its new state. But now it's dead as a doornail :(

Typical. Just when I'd decided to upload a new pic. Well, now that's have to wait until I come home again from work...

I've just tried (09.00 am UK time) nothing, nada, ziltch ..............

My aspiration: to make a decent Poser Render I'm an Oldie, a goldie, but not a miracle worker :-)

i can't get into the galleries either!!!! i think with the conversion it got a bit tired, and is having a bit of a sleep now!!!! it's pooped!!!!!!!!

I don't know about everyone else but I wish Rendo would stick to one format and leave it alone.  I can't log in unless I use IE.  I can't use Firefox which is my preference.  Right now the galleries are dead.  If Rendo wishes to make approvements, they should start working on speeding up the connection.  Right now its terribly slow and it's always been slow.

The galleries are working ok for me now.  You get a daft pop up when you move the mouse over the thumbnails.

http://market.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php the link at the top of this page is wrong. (6/15, 4p.m. server time) frankly all this server-switching is very unprofessional IMVHO. they shouldn't be subjecting their clients to these shenanigans.

Well, as far as Rsity is concerned it's a nuisance, but it's worse for Bondware. IMO, this is a real show of a total lack of professionalism. Just suppose this happening to a bigbig client's site...

they also moved the freestuff to the camelot.renderosity.com server, in case anybody was worried. the gallery may be at a different link later. market, camelot, excalibur - perhaps arthur will be next. :lol: it's like a test for lab-rats: how quickly can we find the various items in the servers maze? :lol:
