Subject: Ecosystems in Vue 6 or Vue 6 Infinite

Does anyone think that Vue 6 will have Vue 5 Infinite's Ecosystems or will the Ecosystems technology remain as a high end feature of a Vue 6 Infinite package (not in Vue 6)?  TIA

Interesting question.  If it isn't a feature of V6 then e-on had better justify a person making the upgrade from V5espirit/pro to V6 by having lots of bells and whistles.  I am curious as to what new features the ecosystem will have, will it not populate behind terrains that aren't visible?  I certainly hope so as it will save me lots of time by not having to cut away bits and pieces of my terrains that aren't in the POV.

if they remove ecosystems, we will not buy it.  I love ecosystems.

Ecosystems won't be removed, but will it be included in the more economically priced Vue 6 or stay in the higher  priced Vue 6 Infinite?

not sure why they would put it in the cheaper versions of the application. There has to be some reason for paying a lot of extra cash over for infinite or whatever the top version will be called this time. Unless they have something even more amazing in store for the top level version of V6 I cant see ecosystems being added to the lower priced versions just yet.....but hey we'll wait and see, i'm really looking forward to seeing what they do for the new version. Prehaps improvements in render speed and stability should be top of the list although I do find the latest beta of 5.10 to be pretty stable so far (fingers crossed).

Seeing the way Carrara is going and it's price drops, E-On should include some kind of ecosystem in Vue6, otherwise they may loose their market share sooner or later.

On the other hand, are we sure there's going to be a Vue 6 Esprit at all? Seems like E-On wants to move away from the lower range and sell high-end only.
