Subject: Newbie Question

I have one problem with vue esprit - I assume its user error but not sure how to fix it.  When I import objects that I have gotten free or from daz studio all it shows once imported is a square shape.  It renders fine showing the actual object - how can I change it in the main window to actually show the object.  Don't have this problem with any of the stuff that I have purchased.

I am sure it has to do with the display settings in the Vue preferences - you maybe play a little with the sliders there and move them in direction "better". Of course you "pay" for better display quality with speed - therefore it needs a balancing.
